WWE has announced another qualifying match for the Global Cruiserweight Series and the match is set to take place at a Revolution Pro Wrestling event on May 1. Noam Dar will be taking on Josh Bodom at the event and WWE posted the following teaser hyping up the match:

Previously confirmed participant Noam Dar of Scotland enters the GCS in the qualifying round. The Israeli-Scottish competitor has made a name for himself as one of the most adaptable wrestlers in the world. Among the U.K.’s premier technical wrestlers, the 22-year-old Dar has shown he can hang with the world’s best in the squared circle, having taken on the likes of AJ Styles, former NXT Champion Finn Bálor, and Austin Aries.

Dar’s opponent in the qualifying match is Josh Bodom. Regarded as one of the hottest prospects in British wrestling, Bodom has made a name for himself against Superstars like Bálor and another GCS competitor, Tommaso Ciampa. He’ll certainly look to ruin Dar’s summer and put himself on the biggest stage possible by earning a spot in the Global Cruiserweight Series.

PROGRESS wrestling will be hosting two qualifying matches for the Global Cruiserweight Series this weekend at their show in Camden Town, London on April 24. One of the matches will feature Zack Sabre Jr. facing off against Flash Morgan Webster and the other will feature Jack Gallagher taking Peter Dunne.

Two more qualifying matches will take place at EVOLVE 61 on Saturday, May 7. The qualifying matches will see Drew Gulak face off against Tracy Williams and Fred Yehi will face off against TJ Perkins.

  • Rich Swann
  • Johnny Gargano
  • Tommaso Ciampa
  • Akira Tozawa
  • Ho Ho Lun
  • Lince Dorado
