WrestleMania is always a big deal for WWE and WrestleMania 32 is no exception. They’ve been hyping up that the event is going to draw a big crowd and ticket sales have been strong so far.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, 84,000 tickets have been sold for WrestleMania 32 as of last week. It was also noted that the event is close to selling out as final attendance will be slightly over 84,000 unless WWE opens up standing room only tickets.
SummerSlam 92 at Wembley Stadium currently holds the all time attendance record for WWE with 79,127 tickets were sold for the event. WrestleMania 3 holds the all time attendance record for a WWE event in the United States. According to WWE over 93,000 people attended WrestleMania 3 but the actual number is believed to be closer to 78,000.
It’s possible that WWE could exaggerate when it comes to the attendance number for WrestleMania 32. At the WrestleMania 33 press conference on Tuesday Vince McMahon was still hyping up WrestleMania 32 as an event that will draw 100,000 people.
