It looks like David Otunga will be filling in for Jerry Lawler on SmackDown while Lawler is away. Otunga recently joined the announce team for WWE Main Event and WWE Superstars and it looks like he will be taking Jerry Lawler’s spot on SmackDown until Jerry’s legal situation is resolved.
Roman Reigns was suspended yesterday for his first violation of WWE’s wellness policy. On Monday WWE announced that Roman will be facing off against Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose at Battleground with the WWE Title on the line.
According to fans in attendance at Tuesday night’s SmackDown tapings, WWE is still advertising the triple threat main event for Battleground.
David Otunga? I guess Graves would’ve been too smart of a choice.
