WrestleMania 42 featured several big title changes and Liv Morgan stepped up to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship during night 1 of the big show. Morgan vs. Vaquer was one of the shortest matches on the show as it was over in just under six minutes. The length of the match became a hot topic among fans on social media, but it sounds like WWE had a good reason for keeping the bout brief.

Bodyslam is reporting that Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer was kept short because both competitors were banged up heading into the match. According to the report WWE didn’t want either one to get hurt further.

A few weeks ago Liv was shoved into Roxanne Perez during a backstage segment on Raw, and their heads collided, which resulted on both women getting a big egg on their respective foreheads. Following the show it was reported that Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan had both been put in concussion protocol.

Ultimately Liv Morgan was able to compete at WrestleMania 42, and she ended up defeating Stephanie Vaquer to win the Women’s World Championship for the second time in her career.
