The Undertaker returned to the ring at WWE Super ShowDown a few weeks ago where he faced off against Goldberg for the very first time, but unfortunately the match will be remembered for all the wrong reasons.
Taker made a surprise appearance on Raw this week when he saved Roman Reigns from Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre, and it was later announced that Taker will team with Reigns to face McMahon an McIntyre at WWE Extreme Rules.
Sports Illustrated is reporting that Undertaker requested McIntyre as a possible opponent, and he was on the short list of talents The Deadman wanted to work with following Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia.
It’s not clear what the plans are for Taker beyond Extreme Rules, but there’s speculation that the tag team match could lead to a SummerSlam match with McIntyre.
