Randy Orton is one of the top stars on SmackDown Live, but he’ll be sitting on the sidelines for a while as WWE confirmed this week that The Viper recently underwent surgery to repair a medial meniscus tear in his left knee.
F4Wonline.com is now reporting that Orton is expected to return in two months.
If the timeline for Orton’s return is correct then that means he should be able to return in time to start a feud for SummerSlam.
NWA World Champion Nick Aldis was recently confirmed for the Honor United event in Edinburgh which is set to take place on May 24th. Aldis challenged The Young Bucks to a match and agreed to let Ring of Honor choose his partner.
The company has since announced that he’ll be teaming up with Mark Haskins at the event.
As noted, Nick Aldis will be defending his title against Cody Rhodes at All In in September.
