Over the last few months we’ve seen a number of former NXT stars join the main roster and some of them have gone on to find success such as Trick Williams and Oba Femi to name a few.
Following WrestleMania 42 a new crop of NXT stars was called up as Joe Hendry, Ethan Page and Sol Ruca have all joined Raw, while Ricky Saints and Blake Monroe have joined the SmackDown brand.
Despite the fact that Blake Monroe has been called up to SmackDown she has yet to appear on the show as WWE has simply been airing vignettes advertising her eventual arrival on the blue brand, which has left fans to wonder when she will officially be on Friday nights.
PWInsider is reporting that the expectation is that Blake Monroe will start appearing on Friday Night SmackDown at the end of May. However, it’s being said that’s subject to change. Cory Hays of Bodyslam.net is also reporting that current plans call for Blake Monroe to be part of the women’s mid card title scene.
Blake Monroe was seen as a big get for WWE when she joined the company following her run as Mariah May in AEW which included an AEW Women’s Championship reign. She officially debuted with WWE in June of 2025 when she joined the NXT brand and quickly became one of the top stars. Throughout her run with NXT, Blake managed to become a one time NXT Women’s North American Champion, and now it seems that she’ll be on the main roster sooner than later.
