While we’re gearing up for Battleground (or Battlefield if you’re in Germany), the Universal Title picture over on Raw is kind of a mess. Brock Lesnar is the champion and there’s word he might not be around very much longer. Then again that’s all according to who you ask.

To make matters even more complicated they can’t seem to figure out who the #1 contender is. Kurt Angle thought he had everything figured out when he booked Roman Reigns vs Samoa Joe for the main event of Raw last week but he didn’t account for Braun Strowman coming back and destroying everyone.

Kurt Angle said he will address the Universal Title picture next week during the beginning of his sit-down with Renee Young alongside his newly revealed son Jason Jordan. But in the meantime, there are still house shows to work.

Braun Strowman faced off against Roman Reigns in Fayetteville on Friday night and the match included a very nice table spot. These two are quite familiar with each other at this point so they’re no strangers to table breaking.

Just when it looked like The Monster Among Men was going to put The Big Dog through a table, Roman derailed Strowman’s attempt to splinter some wood. Reigns jumped on his opponent with a Superman Punch and a spear to put him through the table and pop the crowd big time.

Thanks to Brian The Guppie we can enjoy this spot in multiple angles. It’s a really sweet video and you can see every moment of the action in great detail. This crowd was into every second of the spot and while some would have rather seen Roman take the bump there was no shortage of cheering for the overall execution.

It goes to show you never know what can happen at a WWE Live house show. You can believe that.
