Monday night Roman Reigns faced WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens in a steel cage match on Raw. Reigns was able to get the victory in the non-title match, but after the match was over he was attacked by Kevin Owens and Rusev.
Rusev and Owens locked Roman Reigns in the cage, and Seth Rollins came down to make the save. Rollins climbed the cage and hit a cross body and hit a cross body on Owens and Rusev from te top to end the show.
After the show went off the air Rollins and Reigns brawled with Owens and Rusev some more. Seth Rollins hit Kevin Owens with the Pedigree, and then he he kicked Rusev in the head. Roman Reigns followed up by hitting Rusev with a spear. Rollins and Reigns then had a stare down before Rollins left the ring.
