Cody Rhodes has become quite familiar with the moonsault over the past few years and Cody has proved to wrestling fans all over the world that he’s not afraid of heights. In the past Cody has attempted to hit his opponents with a moonsault from the top of a steel cage, and he did it once again at the Northeast Wrestling event in Danbury, CT on Friday night.

Cody’s opponent was none other than future WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, who also happens to have attempted a moonsault off the top of a cage in the past. Unfortunately for Cody, Kurt Angle moved out of the way at the last second so the move didn’t connect.
Nonetheless it’s still pretty impressive to watch and you can check it out below.

Kurt Angle’s career on the independent circuit is coming to an end as he’s set to headline the 2017 WWE Hall of Fame class. The former WWE Champion will be inducted on March 31st, but his inductor is not known at this time.
Angle has suggested names such as Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar and John Cena as potential inductors. As for whether or not one of those names will make the final cut, we’ll just have to wait and see.
