kurt angle

Kurt Angle is set to become a WWE Hall of Famer on March 31st. It’s true, it’s damn true.

Angle recently finished up his run on the independent scene and now everyone’s wondering if he’ll be wrestling once again in a WWE ring. There are a lot of rumors going around in regards to Kurt Angle’s in ring future, and Kurt recently told Sports Illustrated that he’s not even close to being done.

“I don’t think I’m done,” said Angle. “I don’t think I’m close to being done. I’m not going to tell you that I will wrestle for another five years, but I believe there are numerous matches ahead of me. WWE has not given me any notification that I am going to wrestle, but I believe the fans will speak.

Cody Rhodes has worked with the best of the best in the professional wrestling industry, but he didn’t get the chance to work with Kurt Angle until he left WWE.

Cody and Kurt have faced off a few times now and their steel cage match at Northeast Wrestling Wrestlefest XXI was getting a lot of attention before it even happened. Before the match took place, Cody also spoke to SI and he talked about what makes Kurt Angle such a special opponent.

“Sometimes, when you work with the younger stars, and this isn’t a knock on anybody, it feels like you’re dancing,” noted Rhodes. “When you get into a match with Kurt Angle, and it doesn’t matter how old he is because he’s just as good as he ever was, and perhaps even better on some nights. Kurt is a wrestler’s wrestler. He hits hard, he ties you up tight in ways that are uncomfortable and in ways that, if he wanted to, it could be over right then and there.”

It’s been an interesting week in the world of professional wrestling.
