The New Day hosted the WrestleMania 33 festivities, but before they got down to business they had a lot of preparation to take care of. Xavier Woods recently uploaded a behind-the-scenes video on his Up Up Down Down channel showing the longest reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in action before their big moment in the Florida sun.
It’s really cool to see The New Day interacting in this environment. They’re obviously having a good time. They have a quick photo op with the New Day Pops cart and some of the WrestleMania crew and we get to see them try on their Final Fantasy inspired WrestleMania gear.
Fans also get a first-hand look at Camping World Stadium before the big show. From the way they shot the video you can really tell how massive the stadium is. It’s quite intimidating to get a first-person view like that. As the show begins they gather in the Gorilla Position and you can briefly see AJ Styles as he prepares for his barn-burner of an opening match against Shane McMahon.
After they broke the show wide opened by kicking off WrestleMania, The New Day collect their thoughts and go over what just happened. The crowd was excited and ready to get the show on the road. It had already been a long enough Road To WrestleMania and the show was going to be a long one too.
We had a great time watching WrestleMania 33 and it looks like The New Day had an even better time hosting it. SmackDown Live is obviously in for a great time as well whenever The New Day starts appearing on WWE’s Tuesday night showcase. The New Day really does rock and they brought the house down at WrestleMania 33. Thanks to this awesome video we can see that what went on behind-the-camera was just as fun as what occurred in the ring.
