For decades Vince McMahon was in charge of WWE and it’s not big secret that Vince had his favorites when it came to the wrestlers on the roster. During the Attitude Era, Ken Shamrock signed with WWE and he seemed to be working his way up to becoming one of the top stars in the company.

Ken Shamrock recently spoke to Wrestling Shoot Interviews about what it was like to work for Vince McMahon, and he claimed that the former CEO was a big fan of his.

“Vince was a huge fan. And I think he became a bigger fan after he kind of saw me work. Because you could be a fan of something and really love somebody and they go in there and they just, you know, they’re horrible. You still love them but, you know, they’re not for you, it’s not gonna work so it goes down a little bit. But with me and Vince, I think once he saw what I could do, I think he became even more of a supporter for me, you know, in pro wrestling.”

Shamrock also noted that he never really got the chance to form a relationship with Vince outside of work when he added, “I never got that opportunity. I only got to meet with him on different business, adventures, or ideas, and stuff like that. So, I really never got to know him outside of that.”
