For many years Vince McMahon was synonymous with WWE, but he officially resigned from TKO in 2024. Since then there’s been a lot of speculation regarding his next move.

Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated is report that Vince McMahon recently attempted to purchase controlling interest in Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. David Feldman, BKFC’s founder and president also confirmed that he met with Vince McMahon.

“He’s a great guy, his whole team is great, but the timing wasn’t right for us. He’s Vince McMahon–if I were him, I’d want creative control, too. He was awesome, very complimentary, and he was very serious to do business.”

Several executives in combat sports and professional wrestling reportedly believe that Vince will find himself involved in professional wrestling again. It was also noted that major investors would be more likely to back a Vince McMahon related project if it was focused on wrestling.

Vince still owns stock in TKO, but his non-compete clause expired this year. In 2024, PWInsider reported that Vince was set to launch an entertainment hub company. It’s been confirmed that a team of executives who began leaving WWE in February of 2024 are part of McMahon’s new venture.

However, those with knowledge of the situation aren’t convinced that Vince McMahon’s investment firm, 14TH & I, is going to develop television shows or movies. There’s speculation that 14TH & I could be used as a parent company similar to how Titan Sports was used for WWE.

Wrestlers who spoke off the record indicated that there is still a great deal of support for Vince McMahon as he’s still held in high regard. McMahon has taken a step back from the public eye due to the Janel Grant lawsuit, but he’s believed to be adamant about returning to promoting.
