We’re currently on the road to SummerSlam, and the big pay-per-view is now less than a week away.
Fans have seen some of the top feuds in WWE heat up over the last few weeks, and last Friday on SmackDown Jeff Hardy kicked off a feud with AJ Styles.
Jeff Hardy is currently set to challenge AJ Styles for the Intercontinental Championship on SmackDown this week, and there’s speculation that they will also be facing off at SummerSlam on Sunday.
Dave Meltzer recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that the Hardy vs. Styles feud was actually supposed to kick off weeks ago, but it started late because plans for the feud were “erased” by Vince McMahon.
At this point there’s currently no word on why Vince erased the original plans, but it’s been speculated that one of the talents may not have been able to attend the TV tapings when they wanted to start the feud.
