This week on SmackDown Live, Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura faced off in the main event to determine who will face off against Jinder Mahal at Hell in a Cell in October. Both men gave it everything they had, but in the end it was Shinsuke Nakamura who got the win after he put Randy Orton away with the Kinshasa. Shinsuke will now get his chance to become WWE Champion when he challenges Jinder at Hell in a Cell.

This week’s episode of SmackDown Live was full of McMahon related drama, as Shane McMahon attacked Kevin Owens after he mentioned Shane’s kids in a promo at the beginning of the show. Daniel Bryan later announced that he got a call from Vince McMahon, and Vince gave the order to suspend Shane.
At the end of the show Daniel Bryan confronted Kevin Owens, and he told him that Vince McMahon will be appearing on SmackDown next week to address Kevin’s issues with Shane.
Next week’s episode will also feature two title matches, as The Usos are set to defend their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against The New Day in a street fight, and Natalya will defend her title against Naomi.
