On Sunday night the annual Extreme Rules pay-per-view aired live on Peacock and Roman Reigns defended the Universal Title against Finn Balor in the main event.
Near the end of the match it seemed that The Demon was picking up some major momentum, but when he went to the top rope to hit his finisher on Roman Reigns the top rope broke beneath his feet. Reigns then capitalized and picked up the win.
The finish was not well received by fans, and has been heavily criticized since Extreme Rules aired. Video footage from inside the arena has now surfaced online, and it shows what appears to be a cameraman cutting the top rope before getting off the apron.

The WWE Draft is set to kick off on SmackDown tonight, so it will be interesting to see where Finn Balor ends up following his loss to Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules. Stay tuned for updates.
