Thursday night was a rough night for Vader, as he passed out after wrestling a match a Korakuen Hall in Japan. He teamed up with AKIRA and Keiji Muto to take on the team of Tatsumi Fujinami, Shiro Koshinaka, Riki Choshu.
The event was the 45th anniversary of the debut of Tatsumi Fujinami and according to the Wrestling Observer, Vader passed out right after the match ended as Antonio Inoki was making his way to the ring for a ceremony in honor of Tatsumi Fujinami.
According to the report, the former WWE and WCW star is ok and he was able to stand up and leave under his own power. He was able to attend a party put on by Fujunami and his family after the event was over.
Vader is currently scheduled for shows in Japan on Saturday and Sunday, but it’s not known at this time if he’ll be able to perform at the events.
Although Vader admitted a few months ago that he’s been dealing with heart problems, he took to Twitter to note that the incident had nothing to do with his heart. According to him he was dropped on his head early in the match, and that’s what caused him to pass out. You can see what Vader had to say below.
