Paige has been on fire ever since she returned to WWE, and she’s been dominating the women’s division on Raw with Absolution by her side. But unfortunately Paige suffered a stinger during a recent WWE live event when she took a dropkick, and her match had to be stopped.
The former WWE Divas Champion was reportedly backstage at Raw last week, but it was reported that she had not been cleared to wrestle, and she didn’t end up appearing on the show.
PWInsider is now reporting that Paige is not currently scheduled to wrestle on Raw tonight, so it appears that she may not be cleared to return to the ring just yet.
Unfortunately the Monday Night Raw Superstar’s history with her neck injury has been well documented, so it seems that WWE officials don’t want to take any chances, which is understandable as Paige only recently returned after recovering from surgery.
Paige has experienced some rough setbacks over the past few years, so hopefully she’ll be able to make her return to the ring in time for the very first women’s Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 28, but we’ll just have to wait and see.
