WrestleMania week is one of the biggest weeks of the year for wrestling fans, as they know that they can look forward to big shows from WWE.
But this year WrestleMania week has been drastically altered due to the coronavirus, and WWE has been making some big adjustments.
Now Sports Illustrated is reporting that a number of matches that were scheduled for NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay will air on USA Network in the month of April.
Matches originally planned for NXT TakeOver: Tampa Bay will be added to NXT starting April 1st on a weekly basis. Triple H is expected to appear on NXT this week to make an official announcement.
Prior to the changes being made the only match that was officially confirmed was a ladder match to determine the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Mia Yim, Chelsea Green and Tegan Nox were all confirmed for the match with more competitors expected to be announced.
It was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE taped content for upcoming episodes of NXT at Full Sail on Sunday.
