Cody Rhodes has been the talk of the wrestling world ever since it was announced that he had parted ways with All Elite Wrestling, and everyone is waiting to see what the former TNT Champion is going to do next.
It’s been rumored for weeks now that Cody Rhodes could be returning to WWE, but so far it has not been confirmed that Cody has signed a deal with World Wrestling Entertainment.
Ringside News is now reporting that with weeks to go before WrestleMania the internal schedule for WWE’s biggest show of the year still shows that Cody is on the card. A source reportedly said, “I know what’s scheduled for Cody for Mania, and that it’s still on the list. If it’s changed, no one has told us yet or corrected the internal documents.”
The source also added, “Cody, as of an hour ago, still on internal documents for WrestleMania.”
It’s also worth noting that the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that whether or not Cody has officially signed the creative team in WWE is working on stuff for him, and unless his return falls through it would likely happen soon.
