UPDATE: PWInsider is now reporting that Vince McMahon is backstage at SmackDown tonight working his regular role directing creative.
Earlier today it was reported by the Wall Street Journal that Vince McMahon had paid $12 million dollars in hush money payments to, “suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity.” The report also noted that he paid $7.5 million dollars to a former WWE wrestler who he allegedly had a sexual relationship with.
A few weeks ago it was reported that McMahon paid $3 million to a former employee who he allegedly had an affair with, and since then he’s been staying in the public eye by making brief appearances on Raw and SmackDown. In addition to his recent appearances on Raw and SmackDown the former CEO of WWE also made a rare public appearance at UFC 276 last week in Las Vegas.
PWInsider is now reporting that as of this writing Vince McMahon has not yet arrived for tonight’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown television tapings.
