Roman Reigns has been the man to beat in WWE for some time now, and The Tribal Chief recently celebrated two years as Universal Champion. Reigns successfully defended his title against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, and now fans are wondering who will be next to step up and challenge for the title.

At this point in time Roman Reigns is not currently scheduled for the Extreme Rules premium live event on October 8 and his next major match is expected to take place at the next Saudi Arabia event in November.

Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens have both teased that they want a shot at the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that neither Rollins nor Owens will be the next challenger for the belt.

There’s speculation that either Drew McIntyre or Karrion Kross will face Roman Reigns unless WWE brings in someone from the past like Goldberg. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
