It’s been a while since fans have seen MJF on TV as he took several shots at Tony Khan while cutting a scathing promo on AEW Dynamite following the Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
Fightful Select reports that they’ve followed up numerous times on where MJF has been and not a single talent or staff member has admitted to hearing from him. People who MJF has worked with and people who are close to him say that he has not communicated with them at all.
Following his controversial promo on the June 1st episode of Dynamite, MJF stayed in Los Angeles to take part in on-screen, non-wrestling related meetings. There’s been word that he was filming with the Impractical Jokers cast last week in New Jersey, but it’s not known if he was filming something for the show, or just filming something with the cast members.
It’s also being said that no one has heard Tony Khan speak of MJF at all, and Fightful hasn’t heard from anyone in wrestling that has spoken with MJF since he last appeared on Dynamite.
There are people who believe MJF wants to join WWE, and is on his way out of AEW. MJF has not been at any All Elite Wrestling events since the June 1st episode of Dynamite. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
