Last week AEW officially unveiled the AEW Trios Championship, and it was announced that a tournament will be held to crown the first champions. This week The Undisputed Elite came down to the ring for a promo segment and Adam Cole brought up how he’s still injured and can’t compete while talking about the tournament.
Adam Cole said that if he’s injured, and Kyle O’Reilly is injured, and The Bucks aren’t going to team with Bobby Fish, then they can’t compete in the tournament. Cole then followed up and said that what he’s trying to say is they won’t be physically able to compete in the tournament. As he said that Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish then attacked The Young Bucks from behind.
Cole, O’Reilly and Fish continued to beat down The Young Bucks as Adam Page came out and made the save with a steel pipe. After making the save Page extended his hand to Matt Jackson and helped him up to a big reaction from the crowd as the commentators questioned if Page could reunite with The Young Bucks.
