Drew McIntyre has been one of the top stars in WWE for years now and he was one of the most talked about names in wrestling throughout WrestleMania season this year. It’s no big secret that Drew’s contract is almost up, and it sounds like it’s set to expire sooner than later.

PWInsider is reporting that Drew McIntyre’s current contract with WWE is set to expire in the five to six week range. If the two sides don’t agree to a new deal, or extend his current deal then Drew will be free go wherever he wants likely in late May or early June.

It’s being said that WWE and Drew McIntyre have been in discussions for several weeks now. However, the two sides have not reached the finish line when it comes to agreeing to new terms.

One of the reasons why WWE made changes to the Talent Relations department was to instill Chris Legentil and Matthew Altman into the division and facilitate a stronger signing process.
