CM Punk signed with UFC back in December of 2014 and we’re still waiting for him to fight, but it sounds like the fight could be happening sooner than later. UFC is currently working on a documentary special about CM Punk’s opponent Mickey Gall and the release date indicates that the fight will take place at UFC 202 on August 20th. UFC 202 is set to be headlined by Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz.
Jeremy Blotter of FloCombat also noted on Twitter that August 20th is the targeted date for the CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall fight.
Oh. And CM Punk vs. Mickey Gall is targeted for August 20. Same night as Diaz/McGregor. Hope I didn’t ruin any announcements.
