On Sunday night Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch successfully defended their titles in the main event at Extreme Rules, but after the match was all said and done Brock Lesnar made his way down to the ring and became the new Universal Champion when he cashed in Money in the Bank on Rollins.
On Monday it was announced that Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Rey Mysterio, Randy Orton and Big E would compete in a 10 man battle royal on Raw to determine Brock’s opponent for SummerSlam.
Brock Lesnar brought a chair out and watched the match from the top of the ramp.
The final four came down to Braun Strowman, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton, but Orton was hiding outside the ring after being thrown through the middle rope.
Roman Reigns was trying to throw Braun Strowman out, and Seth Rollins came up then knocked them both off the apron, and celebrated because he thought he won.
Randy Orton tried to throw Seth over the top but he hung on. Orton hit Seth with the middle rope DDT and went for the RKO, but Seth got Randy with the stomp and threw him over the top.
Seth Rollins will now go on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
