Tye Dillinger hasn’t had a great first year on the main roster. From making his debut back at the Royal Rumble, to his debut on SmackDown Live following WrestleMania, The Perfect 10 has a number of highlights, but it all seems to have gone downhill from there.
The closest Dillinger has come to a title was when he was pinned by Baron Corbin in their triple threat match with AJ Styles back at Hell in a Cell. For the better part of his main roster career, Dillinger has been used as a jobber to put others over and it seems that the star is finally able to speak out about it.
WWE has recently been sharing a number of polls on their website when it comes to the stars who had a great 2017 or who the WWE Universe is expecting to have an incredible next 12 months. One of these polls listed stars who could become the breakout star of 2018 and it seems that Dillinger wasn’t impressed that he wasn’t included in the poll.
Really? Not even on the ballot?!
Well, that’s not good….👀Guess I’ll just have to do it my way. https://t.co/7ofJ16Tp0H

Of course, Dillinger did spend a few months as part of NXT last year which means that he could still be able to qualify for a number of their award categories that were announced as part of their “Best of NXT in 2017” show last night.
Do I at least qualify for this one? #PerfectTen2018 https://t.co/yc4eQAvjt5

It seems that frustration may finally be fuelling these tweets since it seemed as though 2017 was going to be the year of The Perfect 10 after he was promoted from NXT and now Dillinger is being forced to look at 2018 in the same way. As his above tweet states though, he’ll just have to do things his way and the WWE Universe will be right behind him when he does.
