It was recently noted that Paige has been pulled from WWE’s upcoming tour of Australia. Paige was set to team with Sasha Banks to take on Dana Brooke and Charlotte, but now Sasha is being advertised to face both Dana and Charlotte in a handicap match
PWInsider is reporting that Paige was pulled from the tour because of an injury. No word on what type of injury Paige is dealing with, but her mother did confirm on Twitter that she is indeed injured.
Jimmy Uso is also reportedly out due to an undisclosed injury which is why Jey teamed with Zack Ryder recently.
Heath Slater is still the hottest free agent in all of wrestling and WWE recently teased on their website that he had been talking to EVOLVE about possibly working with the company. WWE posted the following update on Heath Slater’s status with EVOLVE.
“WWE.com reported that Heath Slater was in talks with EVOLVE after becoming a free agent following the WWE draft. We can now confirm that negotiations are at a standstill. Slater is now focused on his match against Rhyno this Tuesday on Smackdown Live on the USA Network. If Slater wins this match, he will be signed to the Smackdown brand.”
