wwe

We’ve seen a number of big moves recently in the world of wrestling and a few weeks ago WWE released a number of wrestlers. Quite a few names were let go, but it seems that there are at least two names who were believed to have been done with WWE who are actually still with the company.

Fightful Select reports that even though it was recently reported that Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid are now free agents that is not the case just yet. It’s being reported that although they appeared to have finished up with WWE their contracts aren’t set to expire until mid-October, and they are expected to leave the company once their deals are up.

Officially Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid’s contracts with WWE are set to expire on October 14th. Both men requested to be released from WWE earlier this year, but their request was denied, and neither Rip Fowler nor Jagger Reid were let go during the recent round of releases.

Prior to joining WWE Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid worked as Zack Gibson and James Drake. Collectively the duo were known as the Grizzled Young Veterans, so it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them once they are free and clear to work elsewhere.

Stay tuned for updates.
