On Friday, June 7 the stars of WWE will be presenting Super ShowDown from Saudi Arabia, and the company is hyping up the show as a WrestleMania-level event.

Some of WWE’s top stars such as The Undertaker, Goldberg, Triple H, Brock Lesnar, Kofi Kingston and more will be in action, but two stars will not be traveling to Saudi Arabia for the event.

Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that both Daniel Bryan and Kevin Owens have declined to be part of Super ShowDown. Daniel Bryan also declined to be part of Crown Jewel last November.

Their exact reasons for not going aren’t known, but it’s worth noting that Owens is best friends with Sami Zayn, and Zayn isn’t allowed at WWE events in Saudi Arabia due to his Syrian ancestry.

Kevin Owens has been feuding with Kofi Kingston over the WWE Title as of late, but Tuesday night on SmackDown Live Dolph Ziggler returned and inserted himself into the title picture.

Dolph is now set to challenge Kofi for the belt at Super ShowDown, and following the announcement Ziggler was forced to pull out of his upcoming appearance at Oz Comic Con.
