NXT has been going through some big changes over the last few months, but you never know when you might see a top NXT star get called up to Raw or SmackDown.
Fightful Select reports that there have been internal discussions about calling Imperium up to the WWE main roster, and they could be called up as soon as this weekend. The Friday Night SmackDown brand is said to be the heavily discussed destination for them.
It’s also being reported that the pitch involved Gunther and Marcel Barthel, but not Fabian Aichner. This week Imperium faced off against The Creed Brothers on NXT and tension was teased when Aichner walked out on Barthel.
Ever since Gunther moved to the United States the plan has been to call him up to Raw or SmackDown. There’s currently no word on future plans for Fabian Aichner. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
