all elite wrestling

The last few months have been rough for the All Elite Wrestling roster as several of the top stars in the company have been sidelined due to injury. Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly have been out of action which has prevented them from competing alongside Bobby Fish in the AEW Trios Championship tournament.

Recently Bobby Fish discussed O’Reilly and Cole’s status on the Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling and he indicated that it won’t be long before they end up returning.

“We weren’t going to be able to do it, all three of us, at the time that we needed to be. Plans had to be shifted. Much like everything in pro wrestling, it’s all subject to change. This, unfortunately, is one of those things that became subject to change. Right now, I’m the only one who is fully healthy. It’s just a matter of the boys getting back. It won’t be long, but that’s where we are at the moment, just giving the boys a little time to heal and then we’ll get this thing going again.”

Adam Cole last wrestled at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view in June, and Kyle O’Reilly has been out of action since the June 8 episode of Dynamite. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
