A few weeks ago Trish Stratus made her return to WWE programming and Charlotte Flair challenged her to a match at WWE SummerSlam.
Stratus accepted the challenge and she later confirmed that the match would be her last when she posted the following on Twitter:
“That’s a wrap on media day #1! First flight out of Detroit then hopped right into media talking about taking on @MsCharlotteWWE in my FINAL match this Sunday … now on my way home to my littles!!! #SummerSlam @ETCanada @globalnewsto @CherylHickeyETC”
Stratus managed to hold her own in the match and showed little ring rust as she put Charlotte in the Figure 8 at one point, and also hit signature moves such as Stratusfaction and the Chick Kick.
Unfortunately Charlotte proved to be too much for the WWE Hall of Famer as she locked in the Figure 8 and made Trish tap out.

The Queen wasted no time going after the WWE Hall of Famer and Charlotte dominated Trish early on in the match.
