There’s a new regime in charge of WWE and TKO has made it very clear in recent weeks that Vince McMahon is no longer a part of the company. Even though Vince is no longer involved with WWE it seems that the company will be upholding some of the policies he instituted when he was in charge.

Recently on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer discussed the process for picking Hall of Fame inductees while noting that the current regime will be sticking to some of the guidelines that were put in place by Vince McMahon.

“When Vince McMahon picked the hall of fame they had a certain quota thing of there has to be a black wrestler and there has to be a women’s wrestler in every class. In the new hall of fame, it appears that is the same thing.”

So far it’s been confirmed that Paul Heyman, Bull Nakano, US Express, Muhammad Ali and Thunderbolt Patterson will all be getting inducted this year. The Rock’s grandmother Lia Maivia is also expected to be announced as part of the 2024 WWE Hall of Fame class.

Stay tuned for updates.
