Business has really picked up over the last few weeks as The Rock returned and now everyone is talking about WrestleMania. All signs point to The Rock vs. Roman Reigns taking place at WrestleMania 40, but plenty of fans have made it clear that they would rather see Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
The People’s Tight End George Kittle of the San Francisco 49ers was recently asked to share his thoughts on the situation and discussed an idea that would see The Rock work as a special guest referee for a potential Roman vs. Cody match.
“So, it’s funny seeing everything online and everybody’s talking about ‘We Want Cody’ or it’s Roman and The Rock. You know what? I’m a huge Cody Rhodes fan, I like Roman Reigns, The Rock… he coined the term The People’s Tight End, so I’m indebted to The Rock, I’m a huge fan of him.
“Honestly, my dream would be like kind of a set up – Roman shows up, I saw this online, Roman shows up, signs a contract, Cody’s on the other side, The Rock referees.
“Wouldn’t that be fun and special? Let’s make it fun and interesting.”
Triple H reacted to the idea when he posted a response which said, “The People’s Tight End knows what’s up…”

This week on Monday Night Raw, Michael Cole made it clear that The Rock vs. Roman Reigns has not been made official just yet. One way or another it was recently reported that The Rock will 100% be performing in the ring at WrestleMania 40 and you can get more on that here.
