It’s been a big year for WWE returns and a few months ago fans saw former NXT star Dexter Lumis make his return to the company. Lumis has since been featured on the Raw brand, but Road Dogg recently reflected on his time in NXT during an episode of his Oh You Didn’t Know? podcast.
According to the WWE Hall of Famer, he pitched an idea for Dexter Lumis to be billed from Skinwalker Ranch, but the idea was quickly shot down by Triple H.
“I wanted him to be from Skinwalker Ranch. There’s a show called Skinwalker Ranch and there’s a place called Skinwalker Ranch, and the truth about Skinwalker Ranch is that there’s a bunch of paranormal activity that happens out there, or [at least] it’s reported. A lot of UFO sightings, a lot of cow mutilations, a lot of stuff. The show had just come on and I had just started watching it. I was like ‘Oh man, show is cool.’ …[Hunter] just buried it straight away and [now] he’s from somewhere [else].”
Dexter Lumis has been billed from Recluse, Wyoming and it doesn’t seem that Road Dogg’s Skinwalker Ranch is going to come into play at any point with Triple H in charge.
