tough enough

Tough Enough is an interesting show. It’s certainly fun to watch, but it seems that the winners of the competition don’t always go on to do big things in WWE. The last season of Tough Enough aired in 2015, and even though only two contestants technically won the competition, several talents from the show were signed to developmental contracts with the company.

Unfortunately most of the talents from the 2015 season of Tough Enough were eventually released, and now the winner of the competition, Josh Bredl, has reportedly been released as well according to PWInsider.com.

The report notes that Josh Bredl was released from his contract last week.

After Bredl won the competition in 2015, he was signed to a developmental contract and he made his way to the WWE Performance Center where he took on the name Bronson Mathews.

Josh Bredl hasn’t been used in a long time, and it’s also being reported that he had not been training at the Performance Center due to possible concussion related issues.

Sara Lee was the other Tough Enough winner for the 2015 season, and she was also released from her contract in 2016. Shortly after Lee was released from her contract it was revealed that she was pregnant with NXT star Wesley Blake’s baby, and their daughter was born in May of this year.
