Over the last few months a number of big WWE deals have been signed, and Kevin Owens recently hinted that he signed a new contract with the company when he posted the following tweet:
“If you guys help support my daughter’s Girl Scout troop by buying some cookies, I promise to keep wrestling for at least 4 years, 11 months and 22 days more.”
Fightful Select is now reporting that Owens did officially sign a new contract with WWE. Those close to the situation confirmed that the deal has been signed and the new contract kicked off the day of the Royal Rumble. It was also confirmed that Owens signed a five year contract with the company.
It’s being said that All Elite Wrestling has long been interested in Kevin Owens. Despite the interest from another promotion it seems that Kevin Owens is happy to call WWE his home as he’s now locked in with the company for years to come.
