The annual Money in the Bank premium live event has become a big show in its own right and a well timed Money in the Bank win can certainly take a wrestler’s career to the next level. This year WWE is heading overseas for the show as Money in the Bank will take place from the O2 Arena in London, England.

Originally former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre was being advertised for the show, but it’s worth noting that he is no longer listed for the event on WWE.com. It’s also worth noting that Roman Reigns was not originally advertised for Money in the Bank, but has now been added to the listing.

Drew McIntyre last appeared on WWE programming when he faced off against Sheamus and Gunther in a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 39. It’s believed that Drew is taking time off so that he can recover as he was said to be beaten up heading into WrestleMania.

McIntyre’s contract status with WWE has been a hot topic recently as his deal with the company is set to expire later this year and it’s been reported that the two sides are far apart on money. Stay tuned for updates on Money in the Bank as they become available.
