Wrestlers always put their bodies on the line to entertain the fans, but Drew McIntyre is one name that won’t be performing for the fans this weekend as he was pulled from live events.

According to PWInsider, McIntyre was pulled from the live events because he is currently dealing with lower back issues. It was noted that Drew was pulled as a precautionary move to make sure that he’ll be ready for Clash at the Castle.

It’s being said that Drew McIntyre could have worked the shows, but WWE officials didn’t want to take the chance with his back issues, so he was pulled out of caution.

As of right now Drew McIntyre is still scheduled to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship when Clash at the Castle takes place from Cardiff, Wales on September 3. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
