There’s never a good time for a WWE Superstar to be injured and recently it was revealed that Braun Strowman has been sidelined due to injury. The former Universal Champion underwent neck fusion surgery which is set to keep him on the shelf for quite a while.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Braun Strowman is expected to be out of action for just over one year. With Strowman being out of action for over a year it seems that means he will be missing some major events such as the 2024 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 40.
Prior to his surgery Braun Strowman had been working in the tag team division with Ricochet, but Ricochet has been competing as a singles wrestler in recent weeks due to Strowman’s injury. At this point there’s no word on whether or not WWE will put the team back together when Strowman makes his way back to the ring as his return is so far off.
Braun Strowman was originally released from WWE in the summer of 2021, but he was brought back last year after Triple H took over WWE creative. He recently revealed his reaction to his release and you can get more on that here.
