UPDATE: The Miz did eventually get out of the room and he ended up appearing in a backstage segment with R-Truth and DIY on this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
They say that anything can happen in the WWE and apparently that logic applies to mechanical malfunctions as well. The Miz is normally featured as one of the top stars on Monday Night Raw, but the former WWE Champion is having a bit of a rough night this week.
According to the The Miz he is trapped inside of a locker room because the door will not open. Miz posted a video on Instagram noting that the lock isn’t working, people have tried kicking the door down, and he doesn’t have a nail or hammer to get the hinges off the door from the inside. Miz also indicated that he might not be appearing on Raw due to the fact that he’s stuck in an 8×6 room at the SAP Center.
When he posted the video The Miz noted that he had been trapped in the room for 10 minutes. He also noted that he’s ok because he has water and can still watch the show from inside the room.
As of this writing it has not been confirmed that The Miz has made his way out of the room, but he did emphasize when he posted the video that several people are working to get him out.
