WWE has signed a number of notable names to big contracts in recent months, and it’s no big secret that Kevin Owens’ deal was set to expire. Back in May of 2024, Kevin Owens confirmed that his deal would be up at the end of the year during an interview with Metro when he stated that he only had nine months left on his contract.
‘I really don’t take anything for granted, I’ve nine months left on my contract, and I don’t know what can happen from here on out,’
Now it seems that he may have put pen to paper on a new contract, as Kevin Owens teased that he signed a new five year deal with WWE recently when he posted the following on social media:
“If you guys help support my daughter’s Girl Scout troop by buying some cookies, I promise to keep wrestling for at least 4 years, 11 months and 22 days more.”

For months now Kevin Owens has been involved in a heated feud with Cody Rhodes. Owens challenged Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a ladder match at the Royal Rumble, but ultimately it was Rhodes who walked out with the gold.
Kevin Owens has now seemingly set his sights on Sami Zayn as he took Zayn out with a package piledriver following the main event on Raw this week.
