From time to time entrance themes get switched up, and it’s been a while since fans have heard Sami Zayn’s original theme titled “Worlds Apart.” The song was a fan favorite at one time and it looks like it could potentially be making a comeback.
Sami Zayn is currently set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber later this month, and the match will take place in Sami’s hometown of Montreal. During a recent appearance on The Sick Podcast, Sami Zayn indicated that he’s interested in getting a new entrance song, but also noted that he’s open to bringing back “Worlds Apart” for one night in Montreal.
“I mean, if it were going to come back, I feel like that would be the time in place to do it. I’ve said this in other interviews. I feel like it would kind of be taking a step backward. I think maybe a new song is in the cards, but I feel like that song, even though people have a real fondness for it, it seems. From a character’s perspective, it just feels like taking a step backward. At the same time, doing it for like a one-night thing in Montreal might be cool. I don’t know.”
