In the world of professional wrestling a good entrance song can go a long way and it seems that there are a number of old themes fans would like to hear again. Recently Drew McIntyre’s “Broken Dreams” theme has been a hot topic online, and it sounds like there’s a chance it could return.
Drew McIntyre was recently asked about the song by Quetzalli Bulnes on WWE Español’s El Brunch de WWE and he explained that he asked for WWE to come up with something else after he debuted with a different song.
“I asked them, ‘can you find a different song that maybe suits the character more?’ and they came back with Broken Dreams. It really took off. It sold as many as Cena’s online, I believe, which is crazy.”
McIntyre then went on too say that he’s talked about bringing it back for a big match, and he’s working to make it happen for the fans.
“I talk about the possibility of having it for a big match, so fingers crossed. [I am] always working to make things happen, I can promise people that.”
Drew McIntyre is set to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Clash at the Castle which will likely be his biggest match in quite some time, so it will be interesting to see if we hear “Broken Dreams” on Saturday. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
