This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown changed the WWE landscape in a big way as many Superstars shifted brands during night 1 of the WWE Draft. During SmackDown this week four rounds of the draft were held, and more draft picks were announced later on Talking Smack.
Nia Jax happened to be one of the names that was drafted on Talking Smack, and it was announced that Raw had claimed the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion.
PWInsider reports that Nia Jax was not backstage for SmackDown this week. It’s also being reported that the word going around is that Nia Jax will be taking an extended period of time off, and the attack from Shayna Baszler was WWE’s way of writing her off TV for now.
