On Sunday night the Extreme Rules pay-per-view aired live, and the show featured some interesting moments to say the least. Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair successfully defended her title against Alexa Bliss, and after the match Flair destroyed Alexa’s doll Lilly. As Alexa Bliss collected the ripped up pieces of Lilly she screamed and cried as she made her way to the backstage area.
Now Wrestling Inc. is reporting that Alexa Bliss will be taking time off from WWE soon. It’s not known if the segment with Charlotte ripping up the doll was meant to be WWE’s way of writing her off TV.
At this point it’s not clear exactly how long Alexa Bliss will be off TV, but according to the report she will be gone for at least “a few months.”
Following the match Charlotte Flair said that she wants to face the old Alexa Bliss, the Alexa who became Raw Women’s Champion, and that ripping up Lilly was a wakeup call. Stay tuned for updates.
