In the current professional wrestling landscape there’s certainly no shortage of places for wrestlers to work, and ROH has been home to many of wrestling’s top stars for years now.
Matt Taven is the current ROH World Champion, but PWInsider is reporting that Taven’s Ring of Honor contract is set to expire at the end of September.
According to the report the two sides have not yet come to terms on a new deal.
Matt Taven has been with ROH full time since 2010 and he is a former ROH TV Champion, ROH Tag Team Champion and ROH Six Man Tag Team Champion.
He’s currently scheduled to appear for CMLL tomorrow as a representative for ROH at CMLL’s Grand Prix tournament.
